Avoid going out during morning-evening as chill intensifies in Kashmir, advice experts

Srinagar, Nov 23 : As the chilly weather intensified, experts have advised elderly persons and children to avoid going out during morning and evening hours in the Kashmir valley where a number of places, including summer capital, Srinagar, recorded coldest night of the winter so far.

Meanwhile, Leh was coldest after the minimum temperature recorded further drop and settled at minus 13.
5 degree Celsius in the region, where the weather will remain dry during the next 24 hours.
There will no change in the weather during the subsequent two days, a weather official said Thursday afternoon.

A spokesperson of the S K Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) said seven patients have died due to H1N1 while seven are admitted and 20 discharged from the hospital.
