Drivers using mobile phones to face three-month license suspension

 

Srinagar: Traffic Police Srinagar on Wednesday warned of three-month license suspension for drivers caught using mobile phones.

“The license of those found using their mobile phones while driving would be suspended for at least three months or more,” said the Senior Superintendent of Traffic City Srinagar Tahir Saleem Khan.

He said the action would be taken against such drivers under section 19 of Motor Vehicle Act, 1988 read with Rule, 21 of Central Motor Vehicles Rule, 1989.
