Noida, Nov 29 : A school bus ferrying children turned turtle in Sector 38 of Gautam Budh Nagar district here in the morning hours, injuring driver and some kids.
According to City Police Superintendent Arun Kumar, a bus carrying students of Vishwa Bharti School was moving towards Noida at around 0700 hrs, when an auto suddenly came in front of it.
The bus driver, in his effort to save the auto driver, lost control over the vehicle which turned turtle near Golf Course Metro Station.
Locals rescued the children by breaking windows of the bus.
The bus driver, who got seriously injured in the incident, was undergoing treatment at a private hospital nearby, while the children were discharged after first-aid.
