Srinagar, Nov 29 : Traffic on the national highway, connecting Ladakh region with Kashmir, has been suspended following fresh snowfall since Tuesday night.
However, the Srinagar-Jammu national highway and historic Mughal road are through for traffic, a traffic police official told UNI on Wednesday morning.
He said there was fresh snowfall at Zojila and Meenmarg on the 434-km-long Srinagar-Leh national highway. ‘We have suspended traffic as a precautionary measure to avoid any accident as the road had become slippery,’ he said.
