SRINAGAR | DEC 11 : A policeman who was injured in an accidental fire on December 04 in police station Kulgam succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS Soura in Srinagar.
A police officer said that Fayaz Ahmad Ganai (Belt no. 543) S/o Mohd Abdullah Ganai resident of Laribal Tral and his colleague Zaheer Abbas ( Belt no.840) suffered bullet injuries after a service rifle of a cop went off accidentally in police station Kulgam.
Both the injured policemen were hospitalised, the officer said, adding today Constable Fayaz Ahmad Ganai succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS Soura. The officer said that the condition of another cop is said to be stable. (PTK)
