Siddipet, Dec 19 : Four members of a family attempted to commit suicide by consuming pesticide at Thukkavanigunta village of Attannapet Mandal in this district on Tuesday.
However, three of them died on the spot, while another is battling for life at a hospital, police said.
The exact reason for the family members to take the extreme step is yet to be ascertained, Police said.
The deceased were identified as Bhagawan Reddy (46) his son Premchander Reddy (26) and daughter Roja (20).
Bhagawan Reddy’s wife Rajavva was admitted at Government hospital, in Karimnagar.
