Lakhisarai, Jan 02 : Unidentified gunmen shot dead a person at Babhangawa village under Town police station area in the district late last night.
Police said here today that outlaws gunned down Pappu Singh (45) when he was walking near his house.
Sources said that Mr Singh died on the spot.
Police said that the motive behind murder was not immediately known.
The body had been sent to Lakhisarai Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
