Johannesburg Test: South Africa 81/3 at lunch on Day 2
Johannesburg, Jan 25 : After losing a wicket in the early overs of the morning session, Hashim Amla and night watchman Kasigo Rabada showed a fight to lift South Africa to 81/3 till Lunch on Day 2 of the third Test at New Wandrers here on Thursday.
Resuming from overnight score of 6/1, hosts were able to add just another six runs in the morning session when they lost opener Dean Elgar (4) with Bhuvaneshwar Kumar striking again for India.
However, incoming batsman Hashim Amla (32 not out) and Rabada (30) stiched a crucial 64-run partnership for the third wicket to put things back in control for South Africa, leaving the visitors struggling.
