Mehbooba, Omar pained over killing of two policemen in Srinagar
Srinagar, Feb 6 : Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti Mehbooba Mufti and working president of main opposition National Conference (NC) Omar Abdullah expressed pain and heartfelt condolence over the killing of two state policemen by militants in broad daylight at a hospital on Tuesday.
Militants also helped a top Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) militant Naveed Jat alias Hanzullah, arrested in 2014, to escape from the detention who was being taken to hospital for medical check up.
Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, Ms Mufti said, “Pained to hear that two more brave policemen lost their lives in an attack in Srinagar today.
My heart goes out to their families and loved ones.
”
Former Chief minister Omar Abdullah, in a tweet, said, “Two J&K policemen killed by terrorists inside Srinagar’s premier hospital.
