Horticulture building, 2 shops gutted in Baramulla fire mishap

Sopore: A massive fire broke out in the Choora locality in Baramulla district on Wednesday night.
According to reports, fire incident was reported around 3:30 am from the shop of Ali Mohammad Mir son of Abdul Ahmad Mir.The fire then spread to nearby dental, which slowly engulfed the second floor where Horticulture department is housed in rented accommodation.
Flames were finally brought under control after fire service team reached to the stop.Meanwhile Police confirmed this fire incident to The Kashmir Monitor and said a case has been registered in this regard.
Meanwhile, a fire serviceman received injures in the incident and has been identified him as Abdul Hamed Zargar.
The cause of the fire is said to be short circuit.
It is pertinent to mention here that the building which was damaged in the fire mishap belonged to Latief Ahmed Lone son of Abdul Qareem Lone, resident of Choora.
