Youth dies after getting stuck in barricade; 4 policemen suspended

New Delhi, Feb 8 : A 22-year-old motorcyclist died after his neck was stuck in a wire that was tied between two Police barricades which were placed on the road in Netaji Subhash Place here.

A Delhi Police official said the incident happened late last night. The SHO of the Subhash Place Police Station has been sent to police lines and a sub-inspector, one head constable and two constable have been suspended.

The police had put four barricades on the road in the Netaji Subhash Place area at night, two of which had a wire between them so that both could be connected. The biker was stuck in between these wire and died.
