SRINAGAR, FEB 08: A youth was injured during clashes between protesters and security forces on Thursday in Batpora area of district Shopian.
Reports said that the clashes erupted soon after youth staged protests against late-night arrests of two youth by the forces. Adding that youth pelted the forces with stones who retaliated by firing tear gas and pellets.
Reports also said that a youth was hit by pellets in his head, who has been shifted to sub-district hospital Shopian for treatment now.
