Srinagar, Feb 10 : Police arrested three gamblers and recovered stake money in the city outskirts, a police spokesman said on Saturday afternoon.
He said acting on information, a police party raided a gambling site in Panthachowk area and arrested Parvaiz Ahmad Ganaie, Manzoor Ahmad Ganaie and Irshad Ahmad Mir, all residents of Zewan.
Stake money and playing cards were recovered from the gambling spot.
A case under Section 13 of the Gambling Act was registered and investigation was taken up, the spokesman added.
