Hardoi, Feb 11 : Three people, including a policeman and a homeguard, were killed and two others injured when a truck rammed a police picket under Kotwali police station area.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Vipin Mishra said here on Sunday that the incident occurred at around 0100 hrs late Saturday night when the truck was en route Lucknow.
Police constable Mansoor and Homeguard Srischandra and another person were killed on the spot. After the incident the truck caught fire in which the firearms of the policeman was also burnt.
