Srinagar, Feb 15 : Alert CRPF personnel foiled yet another attack on their camp, this time in south Kashmir district of Pulwama Thursday night, official sources said.
They said alert CRPF noticed some suspicious movement near their camp at Panzgam Awantipora in Pulwama district tonight.
However, when challenged, militants resorted to indiscriminate firing with automatic weapons, they said adding security forces also retaliated but the militants managed to escape under the cover of darkness.
There was no report of any loss of life or injury in the exchange of fire.
Later troops of Army, CRPF and state police personnel were rushed to the spot and a massive search operation was launched, they said.
