Srinagar, Feb 26 : Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday claimed that several people from coalition partner People’s Democratic Party (PDP), opposition National Conference (NC) and Congress joined the minority morcha of the party here.
BJP media secretary Altaf Thakur in a statement here this afternoon said people from PDP, NC, Congress and other socio-political organisation joined the party minority morcha at a function held at Jawahar Nagar office.
The function was organised by BJP state general secretary Minority Morcha Sheikh Bashir in which prominent faces like Shabir Ahmad Shoura, Arshid Saleem, Haji Parveez, Mohammad Shafi, Mohammad Shaban joined the party with their supporters.
“Our aim is to serve the common people, and BJP is the better platform to fulfill our dreams, those who joined the party said,” claimed Mr Thakur.
