A HM militant with bullet injury admitted to Srinagar hospital

Srinagar, Mar 30: A militant of Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) was admitted to a Srinagar hospital with a bullet wound, a police spokesman said on Friday.

He said police authorities have learnt that one Asif Ashraf Malik, son of Ashraf Malik, resident of Krawoora Shopian was admitted in S K Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Soura Srinagar with a bullet wound.
Asif was active since 19-10-2017 with HM outfit, he said.

He said the injured has been given required medical treatment in the hospital.

Spokesman said preliminary investigation suggests that he was injured in the incident of Thursday at Ahgam where militants, travelling in a car opened fire on an Army patrol.
