Srinagar: Militants on Wednesday attacked and killed a PDP activist at Rajpora in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, police said.
The former Congress leader has been identified as Ghulam Nabi Patel.
They said that his two PSOs also sustained injuries in the militant attack. They have been identified as Imtiyaz Ahmad of Handwara and Bilal Ahmad Dar of Kangon Pulwama.
SSP Pulwama Mohammad Aslam Chaudhary confirmed the killing of Patel.
A manhunt has been launched in the area to nab the attackers, police said.
