Srinagar, Apr 28 : An SSB constable was injured when he allegedly attempted to commit suicide in a camp at Pattan in north Kashmir district of Baramulla, official sources said on Saturday.
Panic gripped SSB camp at Babateang, Pattan, when a firing sound was heard from a room. Security forces present in the area immediately rushed there and found constable Amreet Singh lying in a pool of blood late Friday night.
He was immediately rushed to hospital from where he was referred to S K Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS).
Sources said Singh has reportedly attempted suicide. A case has been registered investigation started. UNI
