Akhilesh arrives in Hyderabad, to hold talks with CM on stitching non-Congress, non-BJP front

Hyderabad, May 2: In a boost to Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) Supremo and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s efforts to forge a non-Congress and non-BJP federal front to usher in qualitative change in National Politics, former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav came down to the city on Wednesday.
Mr Yadav will hold talks with Mr Rao in this regard.

The special aircraft carrying Mr.Yadav and his entourage from Lucknow touched down at the Begumpet airport to a warm welcome.

State IT Minister K Taraka Rama Rao, Animal Husbandry Minister T.Srinivas Yadav and a large number of prominent leaders of the Yadav community received Mr.Akhilesh Yadav on arrival at the Airport.

Mr.Yadav drove straight from the Airport to Pragathi Bhavan, the camp office-cum-official residence of the Chief Minister to call on Mr.Rao and to discuss the formation of an alternate front before the 2019 election.

Mr.Rao is expected to explain to Mr.Yadav about his mission to bring together all like-minded non-Congress and non-BJP parties parties to bring about a qualitative change in the National Politics.

The TRS chief had already held discussions with several leaders including West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, former Prime Minister H.D.Deve Gowda and DMK Working President Stalin.

Meanwhile, Communist Party of India (CPI) General Secretary Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy has said that the proposed front would only help the BJP and cited how the BJP President Amit Shah had welcomed Mr.Rao’s move.(UNI)
