Jammu and Kashmir CM Mehbooba meets Union minister Gadkari
Srinagar, May 2 Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Wednesday said rapid development in the state is paramount to India’s growth.
Meanwhile, Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways, Shipping and Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, Nitin Gadkari said the emphasis of the Centre is on providing jobs to local youths through road infrastructure and irrigation projects in the state.
Ms Mufti in a tweet this afternoon said, “Had a fruitful meeting with @nitin_gadkari ji. Rapid development in J&K is paramount to India’s growth. We are greatly looking forward to starting the projects that were discussed”.
Mr Gadkari also tweeted that “Today met J & K CM @MehboobaMufti ji and discussed about road infrastructure, irrigation projects in state. We also discussed about running steamer on Jhelum river. Our emphasis is on providing jobs to local youth through these development projects”.
