New Delhi, May 12 : Royal Challengers Bangalore on Saturday won by five wickets against Delhi Daredevils in the 11th session of IPL at Firoz Shah Kotla stadium here.
This was RCB’s fourth win in a row at the Kotla, as they stayed alive for playoff contention. It was a classic RCB win tonight, with Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers really putting on a show for the spectators.
Despite Delhi scoring a challenging 181 for four wickets, Bengaluru won the match by making 187 runs in 19 overs. This was the fourth win of Bengaluru in 11 matches, bagging eight points. However, Bangalore has to win all three matches left in the tournament.
On the other hand, it is the ninth defeat in 12 matches of Delhi. Bengaluru is now on the seventh place, while Delhi falls just behind at eighth place in the table. UNI
