Srinagar: An unidentified dead body of a youth was recovered from a hill in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Saturday morning.
Official sources told GNS that some shepherd spotted the charred body at Khazan Mati – the top side of Kralpora forests and informed the concerned police accordingly.
A police officer while confirming the incident said that a team was rushed immediately to the spot that recovered the body.
“The body is about 22-years old but is charred beyond recognition and authorities were conducting all legal medico formalities to ascertain his identity,” the officer said. (Agencies)
