Aircel Maxis deal case: SC asks Swamy to come next week

New Delhi, June 20 : Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, Subramanian Swamy, on Wednesday approached the Supreme Court and mentioned before the court vacation bench that the investigation into the alleged Aircel Maxis deal case was being stalled because allegations were being raised against the investigator, Rajeshwar Singh, in the case.
The division bench of the apex court vacation bench asked Mr Swamy to again mention the matter in the next week as the judges on the bench could not hear the matter “today”.
Mr Swamy mentioned the matter before the two-judge vacation bench, headed by Justice S Abdul Nazeer and also comprising Justice Indu Malhotra, who asked him to mention the matter again in the next week before the appropriate judge/ bench.
Mr Swamy mentioned before the Supreme Court that someone else had filed a plea against Rajeshwar Singh in the SC, just to delay the investigation in the case, despite the SC order that the investigation into cases relating to 2G spectrum cases to be concluded by June 12.
