Pattan: Today hundreds of people from Matipora Pattan protested and blocked Srinagar Muzaffarbad Highway at Jeel Bridge Singpora Pattan against dearth of drinking water
Whereas the protesters rasing slogans against MLA pattan and PHE department , blamed that the area is without tap water facilitiy in present modern world
The protestes said that the area was facilitated by water container in past month, which was also stoped since last two weeks
Whereas the protesters demanding pure drinking water facilitiy to the area, blocked highway for about half an hour in which thousands of travellers faced problems
Meanwhile Tehasildar Singpora Dr Iqbal, SDPO Pattan Majid Iqbal and SHO Pattan Inspector Saleem reached on spot and the protesters Disbursed peacefully after assurence of said Officers
