Current year to be historic in development of basic infrastructure in Education Sector Rs 1000 Crore funds from Centre to help a lot in strengthening basic infrastructure in schools of JK: Sec Edu

Srinagar, Jun 30 : Current year will be historic in the development of basic infrastructure in Education sector due the tripling of Capex Budget for Education and Rs 1000 Crores aid from Centre for School Education. This will help in further strengthening of the basic infrastructure in schools. These views were expressed by Secretary School Education Farooq Ahmad Shah today during a function at SIE Kashmir. He said that discipline is of pivotal importance in Education sector and the development of every society, culture and a good image is dependent on its Education sector. He added that the future of the society lies in the hands of a teacher and the teachers are the guarantee for a prosperous future. Calling the job of every person employed in Education sector as worship, Secretary Education said that every one of us is answerable before Allah for performing of our duties. He stressed upon all the concerned to make every possible effort to make sure a strong base of the students.
Director School Education Kashmir Dr. G.N. Itoo while throwing light on the various activities of the Department said that the honest employees should be given more respect after superannuation. He stressed upon all the employees to perform their duties with dedication. Head of the SIE Kashmir Mehboob Hussain formally welcomed all the guests on the occasion.
This function was organized in honour of Field Advisor SIE Kashmir Muhammad Lateef Wani who today got superannuated from the services. During the function the contribution of Muhammad Lateef Wani was widely appreciated and he was formally honoured on the occasion. Muhammad Lateef shared his experiences during his service tenure. The function was attended by Principal DIET Srinagar Naheed Nelofar and the whole staff of SIE Kashmir. (KNS)
