Tripura CM meets five union ministers
Agartala, Jul 4 : Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb met as many as five Union Ministers in New Delhi yesterday and persuaded pending development projects of the state with the respective ministries and was assured that central government is ready to extend all helps to the state.
He had discussions with Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Health Minister J P Nadda, Union Minister for Skill Development Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Giriraj Singh and Union Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari.
“Besides, pushing up pending projects with the ministers I had a detailed meeting on cluster based development model & Bamboo based Small scale industries with Giriraj Singh, Nadda was informed about the initiative of the state government to make Tripura free from drug abuse,” Deb stated.
He has scheduled to meet three other ministers today before leaving for Agartala this evening.
