Pulwama: A woman pilgrim was killed and two others injured in a road accident along Srinagar-Jammu highway this morning, a police official told Kashmir Reader.
Savita Devi, wife of Surinder Chowdry from Jaipur was killed when the car she was travelling in collided with a school bus near Padgampora bridge here this morning, SHO Awantipora Nazir Ahmad said.
The woman was on her way to the Amarnath shrine when the accident took place.
Two other pilgrims were also injured in the road accident, Ahmad said.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this regard. (Agencies)
