Srinagar: A cloudburst in the Dachigam mountain range has triggered flash floods in Tailbal nallah here, even as the authorities have urged locals to remain calm.
The cloudburst hit Dachigam hills on Monday night triggering flash floods in Tailbal nallah, Amir Ali, Director state disaster management authority (SDMA, told Local Media.
He said a team of SDMA was instantly rushed to the area to monitor the situation and to ensure the people don’t face any inconvenience.
“The situation is under control. People need not to panic,” he added.
