Hurriyat (M) denounces Govt for placing Mirwaiz under house detention

‘Disallowing leadership to attend seminars is reflective of iron fist policy’

Srinagar, Jul 24 : Strongly denouncing the government’s decision of caging Hurriyat (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq at his Nigeen residence and putting him under illegal house arrest and not allowing him to attend a seminar on the plight of prisoners organised by JRL and also barring him from attending Awami Action Committee (AAC) meet at Mirwaiz Manzil Rajouri Kadal, Hurriyat (M) said that this reflects the frustration and complete high handedness of the authorities.
