Srinagar, August 2: Two unidentified militants on Thursday were killed in a gun-battle with government forces in Khumriyal area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, a senior police official said.
SSP Kupwara AS Dinkar told Local Media that two militants were killed by the forces when they were passing through the compound of Grid Station in Khumriyal area of the frontier district this afternoon.
“The bodies of both militants have been recovered. Efforts are on to ascertain their identity,” Dinkar said.
