Srinagar: At least three persons were killed in an accident on the Srinagar-Jammu highway, police said on Friday.
The accident took place in Ramban district.
“At about 0400 hrs, Truck bearing No JK05E-6580 on way from Srinagar to Jammu rolled down about 1000 mts into deep gorge near Battery Chashma Ramban,” a police statement said.
“During search operation 03 dead bodies were recovered from the spot,” the statement added.
Rescue operation was going on in the area.
