Srinagar: A complete shutdown is being observed in Chadoora town of central Kashmir’s Budgam district to mark the first death anniversary of Hizb ul-Mujahideen commander Mohammad Yasin Itoo.
All shops and other business establishments are closed in the town while public transport is off the roads.
Mohammad Yasin Itoo alias Mahmood Gaznavi was killed along with his three associates, at Awneera village of Shopian in a gunfight with government forces on August 13, 2017.
