Anantnag: Mobile internet services have been blocked in Anantnag district where security forces and militants are engaged in a fierce gun-battle since early morning.
All cellular companies, including the state run Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) suspended mobile internet service in South Kashmiris Anantnag district after the encounter broke out in Muniward area of the district in the early hours today, witnesses said.
Two Lashkar-e-Toiba militants are believed to be trapped in the area.
