Srinagar, Aug 31 : KAS aspirants delegation met Governor at Raj Bhawan and demanded immediate postponement of KAS preliminary examination scheduled to be held on Sunday, September 2nd on the grounds that new UPSC pattern for KAS requires to be implemented in a rational manner and are not given adequate time to prepare for the examination, yesterday.
Delegation apprised the newly appointed Governor, Satya Pal Malik of all the malfunctions in Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) since 2015 after the new commission headed by Lateef-uz-Zaman Deva was constituted.
“We are given just odd 22 days to prepare for the examination which has extensive syllabus and for which UPSC gives some 6 months “, an aspirant told KNS. (KNS)
