Karvan-e-Aman bus leave for PaK

Srinagar, Sep 3 : The Karvan-e-Aman bus, operating between Srinagar and Muzaffarabad, capital of Pakistan Administrate Kashmir (PaK), left here to cross over to other side of the Line of Control (LoC), official sources said on Monday.
They said the bus with 19 passengers, including 15 returnees and four Kashmiris, left Bemina, Srinagar for Kaman post, the last Indian military post on LoC in Uri sector. The bus has since reached Trade Facilitation Centre (TFC), Uri, where more passengers will board it before leaving for Kaman post, sources told UNI.
They said the exact number of passengers travelling in the bus to other side will be known in the afternoon. Similarly, people travelling from PaK to here will be known in the evening, they added.
The weekly bus has helped thousands of families, divided in 1947 due to partition, to meet each other since it was introduced on April 7, 2005.
