JRL Leaders Stage Protest in Srinagar against Pulwama killing

Srinagar, Sep 4, (PR): Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) Tuesday staged a protest demonstration in Kashmir capital Srinagar against the killing of a youth by government forces in Pulwama village.

Scores of the leaders, activists and party supporters from both the factions of Hurriyat Conference headed by JKLF chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik assembled at Nowhatta area of Srinagar’s downtown outside Jamia Masjid, after Zuhar prayers and registered their protest against the killing of Fayaz Ahmed Wani, a resident of Newa  Pulwama.

Wani was killed by government forces on September 03, 2018 during clashes in Gusoo Pulwama. Before Wani’s death, dozens of the villages in Pulwama were surrounded by the forces during a CASO.
