PDP Likely to take final call on participating UBL, Panchayat polls, rebel PDP leader Javed Beigh attends meeting

Srinagar: PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti is chairing a meeting of senior party functionaries and legislators at her Gupkar based official residence here in Srinagar city.

The meeting is to decide about participation of PDP in the local body elections. Baring 3 MLAs & 2 MLCs all legislators are reportedly present in the meeting.

Those who didn’t participate in the meeting including Imran Raza Ansari, Abid Ansari, Abdul Majeed Paddar, Yasir Reshi and Saifudin Bhat.

Reports said that disgruntled PDP legislator from Baramulla Javaid Hussain Beigh also attended the meeting. Beigh, who was part of the press conference called against party leader Mehbooba Mufti had leveled serious allegations against Mehbooba accusing her of turning party into the group of a chosen few.
