Srinagar: Unknown men on the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday abducted a man from his residence in Khag area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Official sources said that a man identified as Assadullah Sheik, (45), son of Ghulam Mohd Sheikh, a resident of Alamnag Poshker, Khag in Budgam was abducted by four masked men from his house and he was taken to a nearby forest area.
However, He was freed soon after some watchmen guarding orchards raised hue and cry. Later he was taken to the PHC Khag in an unconscious state for the treatment.
