Security Forces launch massive search operation in Pulwama
Srinagar: A day after the killing of three cops by suspected militants, troops on Saturday cordoned off many villages in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district to search for any hiding militants.
Witnesses said that several villages of Pulwama in South Kashmir including Lassipora
Armula, Alaipura, Batnur, Garbug, Naupora Payen, Hajdarpora and Achan were cordoned off by joint forces of JK police, CRPF and Army.
Witnesses said that door to door search operations was going on as the forces are looking for any hiding militants in the area.
