Another opportunity to talk peace with Pakistan shunned by New Delhi in its arrogance: Mirwaiz

Srinagar: Hurriyat Conference (M) chairperson Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Sunday lashed out at the Government of India for walking away from the “peace dialogue” offered by the Prime Minister of Pakistan.

Speaking at a seminar at octogenarian Hurriyat Patriarch Syed Ali Geelani’s residence, Mirwaiz said that it is unfortunate that Government of India has shunned another opportunity to bring peace in the region by rejecting the dialogue and said that it was arrogant.

He also hit out at New Delhi for speaking the language of war and said that creating fear among people by speaking the language of war is not bravery or nationalism.
