Srinagar: One militant was reported to have been killed in the gunfight with the government forces in Tral area of south Kashmir on Sunday. The firefight had started early in the morning.
A police source said that a militant, apparently a non-local, was killed in the gunfight that broke out in Dar Ganai Gund village of Aripal area of Tral.
He said there was no fresh exchange of fire and that asearch operation is underway at the site of the gunfight.
