Edu deptt express grief over death of a teacher, two students in tragic accident at Ramban
Srinagar, Oct 07 : Secretary School Education Ajeet Kumar Sahu, Director School Education Kashmir, Dr. G.N. Itoo and Director School Education Jammu Rakesh Kumar Srangal have expressed shock over the death of a Teacher Mudassir Ahmad Mir son of Ab. Jabbar Mir resident of Bankoot who was posted at High School Chanjaloo Zone Banihal and two students of Higher Secondary School Ramban namely Sunil Singh son of Ratan Singh resident of Digogh Ramban and Irfan Suleman son of Muhammad Suleman resident of Panthayal Ramban of Class 11th in the tragic road accident at Ramban. They were travelling in the ill-fated minibus.
Secretary Education said that the Department stands with the family members of the deceased at this hour of grief and shall extend all necessary help. He directed Chief Education Officer Ramban, Hameed Fani to ensure all possible help to the families of deceased to be provided. DSEK and DSEJ besides other officers of the Department, teaching fraternity and others have also expressed shock over this loss and prayed for the eternal peace of the deceased souls. They said that, it is very unfortunate that in a tragic accident at Ramban a number of precious lives were lost, particularly one of our teachers Mudasar Mir of Banihal who lost his life while travelling to attend training programme on Learning Outcomes at Ramban and two students of Hr. Sec. School Ramban who were also travelling in the ill- fated bus. (KNS)
