People rejected NC, PDP by voting today, says BJP
‘Voting percentage victory of democracy’
Srinagar, Oct 08 : Bharatiya Jana Party (BJP) on Monday said that people of Jammu and Kashmir have rejected National Conference (NC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) by exercising their franchise today.
BJP State General Secretary (organization), Ashok Koul told Kashmir News Service (KNS) the people who came out and cast the ballots today have rejected the two regional parties, who had announced boycott to the elections that commenced today.
He said that the BJP will encourage the workers who supported the party, saying that the workers strengthened the party at the grass-root level. “The concerns of BJP workers will be looked into,” he said.
Koul also said that the polling percentage today was victory of democracy. (KNS)
