North Zone Cultural Centre to promote Kashmiri Folk Culture at National level
Kashmiri artists to perform at Jaipur on Jan 26

Srinagar: North Zone Culture Centre Patiala in association Ministry of Cultural, Government of India under the banner of Folk Theatre Festival Mela is being held across Kashmir and the first proramme was held at Wathwora Budgam.
The second event was held at Aishimuqam Anantnag in which Chief Guest Riyaz Ahmad Sofi, Additional District Magistrate Anantnag and Guest of Honor Mushtaq Ali Khan veteran film maker, Prof. Saubhagya Vardan Director North Zone Culture Centre Patiala and other prominent citizens were present on the occasion.
The third event was held at Shakoot Baramulla in which several programmes where held and people were enthralled.
During the programme, several artists of Baand theatre performed various skits and graced the function which were commended by the audience. North Zone Culture Centre Patiala on the occasion told gathering that they will do all possible help to encourage the local talent.
People on the occasion appreciated the work of Prof. Saubhagya Vardan Director North Zone Culture Centre Patiala and extend greeting to him for his support to encourage local potential. Meanwhile, Prof. Saubhagya Vardan assured people that they will continue to support such programmes in future. North Zone Culture Centre Patiala on October 9 in association Ministry of Cultural, Government of India under the banner of “Baand Jashan” Lok theatre Mela was held.
