Srinagar: Violent protests have erupted again in Soura area of the city, where anti-poll protesters are clashing with the government forces.
Witnesses told Kashmir Reader that groups of youth hit the streets in Soura and staged a protest over the conduct of municipal and local body polls. Angry protesters pelted rocks and stones on the government forces, who have been deployed in the area for the conduct of polls.
“The forces returned stone triggering off clashes. However, no one has been hurt,” witnesses told Kashmir Reader.
