SRINAGAR (KNT): A couple of SPO’s working in Jammu Kashmir Police Department have allegedly resigned from their jobs after yesterday night’s militant attack on an SPO in Central Kashmir.

Suspected militants on late Saturday evening fired upon an SPO in Charwani Chrar-e-Sharif area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

The injured SPO Hafiz Khandey was injured in the attack and shifted to Srinagar hospital for treatment.

A couple of videos have gone viral in which SPO’s can be seen claiming that they have resigned from the job. A police official said they are ascertaining the facts.
