SAC to meet in Jammu before Durbar move opening
Srinagar, Oct 30 : State Administrative Council (SAC) headed by Governor Satya Pal Malik will meet in Jammu tomorrow on Wednesday before the opening of move offices in Jammu.
Top sources while disclosing this to Kashmir News Service (KNS) revealed that State Administrative Council (SAC) meeting comes close on the heels of sensational revelations by Governor Satya Pal Malik about the illegal appointments in Jammu and Kashmir Bank and Public Service Commission. Though the charges of illegal appointments have been refuted by Governor himself and refuted with clarifications by chairman Jammu and Kashmir Bank Parvez Ahmad but the revelations of the Governor have triggered a public debate over the conduct of selection process for representational executives by Jammu and Kashmir Bank.
The SAC is also likely to discuss the decision on scraping of mediclaim insurance policy approved earlier by the SAC itself headed by Governor and the enquiry ordered into the mediclaim insurance policy is likely to come up for discussion. The security related issues including the killing of seven civilians in Laroo village of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district and the reports about entry of snipers into Jammu and Kashmir are also likely to be discussed during the SAC meeting.
Sources further said that Governor is likely to brief Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Prime Minister Narendra Modi about the issues related to bank recruitments, security situation and the conduct of upcoming Panchayat elections in Jammu and Kashmir state early next month. (KNS)
