Srinagar, Oct 31:Pak troops violated ceasefire by resorted to unprovoked firing from across the Line of Control (LoC) in Tangdhar sector and Karnah sector in frontier Kashmir district of Kupwara.
Official sources said, Pakistani troops violated 2003 ceasefire and resorted to firing with automatic weapons, targeting forward posts and villages on this side of the LoC in Tangdhar sector on Wednesday morning.
Indian troops also retaliated and the exchange of fire continued for about 20 minutes.
However, there was no report of any casualty from this side of the LoC.
They said Pakistani troops also resorted to unprovoked firing in Karnah sector on Tuesday evening.(UNI)
