Srinagar: Central government’s special representative for Jammu and Kashmir, Dineshwar Sharma on Thursday reached Handwara in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district where he is scheduled to hold meetings with local representatives.
Sharma, according to an official, reached Handwara town amid tight security arrangements.
He is scheduled to meet a number of delegations at Environmental Hall, Handwara.
Sharma, who is a former Intelligence Bureau (IB) chief, was appointed as the government’s special representative to carry forward a dialogue with all sections of the people in Jammu and Kashmir, last year.
